Dr. Michelle Frazier
Dr. Frazier graduated from the University of Western Ontario with a Bachelor in Kinesiology in 2005 and then went on to graduate from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in 2009. Dr. Frazier is also Webster technique certified (prenatal care), trained in medical acupuncture and a member of the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association. Dr. Frazier has been practicing at the Pickering Chiropractic Health Centre (PCHC) since graduation building a thriving practice serving all generations in pain care, work related injuries, motor vehicle accidents and general wellness care. Outside of being the proud owner of PCHC, Dr. Frazier has 3 young boys to keep her on her toes meaning most of her time outside of the clinic is spent in an arena watching her boys play rep level hockey.

Dr. James Boylan
Dr. Boylan began his post secondary education at the University of Guelph. He received his Honours Bachelor of Science Degree in 1986 specializing in Biology with a minor in biomedical science. James worked as a quality control chemist for a pharmaceutical company before beginning Chiropractic College in 1988. He attended his first year of Chiropractic College at Northwestern College of Chiropractic in Minnesota and finished the remaining three years at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto. Dr. Boylan believes that in order to optimize health it is important to have a properly functioning nervous system. Regular chiropractic care is imperative for all ages to ensure a healthy spine and nervous system.

Dr. Jennafer Collins
Dr. Jennafer Collins commitment to health and wellness started at a young age. Through her involvement in a variety of competitive sports and exposure to the natural and holistic health industry, she became fascinated with the human body and what it truly means to be healthy. This led her to an undergraduate honors degree in health studies at Queen’s University and then to graduate as a Doctor of Chiropractic, growing her passion for physical health and well-being beyond the traditional medical system.
Through her experiences she has learned that wellness is a lifelong journey that starts from a young age, and that the best health care is prevention but that its never too late to start on a holistic health journey. Whether you’re an athlete, work at a desk all day, are a grandparent wanting to keep up with their grandkids or just someone looking to improve their overall health and mobility, everyone can benefit from Chiropractic care.
Dr. Collins uses manual therapy, chiropractic manipulation, activator, cupping and acupuncture to treat a broad range of concerns from head to toe. She loves working with athletes, young children, and people looking to improve their overall health.

Registered Massage Therapist
Leigh Puddephatt
Leigh has been a Registered Massage Therapist since 1996; working in the Durham region since 2005 and in May 2015 joined Pickering Chiropractic. Leigh has experience working in a variety of settings and believes in taking courses to keep her skills updated, ensuring her patients get the most out of their sessions. One of her favourite treatments that she is trained to provide is CranioSacral Therapy for adults and children. Prenatal and Infant Massage are also amongst the continued education in Leigh’s varied repertoire. Leigh continually looks forward to providing the best of care for her patients.

Kristina Wilson
Kristina Wilson graduated from Royal Canadian College of Massage Therapy in 2014. Kristina joined Pickering Chiropractic team in December 2015. Using a variety of techniques Kristina provides a therapeutic and relaxing massage. She also is trained in reflexology which improves circulation and boosts the immune system. It helps eliminate toxins and induces relaxation. Kristina is a dependable, energetic and an ambitious person who is compassionate with a nurturing touch focusing on the wellness of the client.

Claire Papaconstantinou
Claire grew up in high level athletics which fueled her passion in alternative health care. Her diverse resume started with completing a Nutritionist Certification with the Institute of Holistic Nutrition prior to becoming a Registered Massage Therapist through the Royal Canadian College of Massage Therapy. In addition, she has also studied Reflexology, Reiki & Microcurrent Point Stimulation. The combination of all her training allows Claire to provide the most optimal treatment plan for her patients. Claire believes that the body will always show you the cause of symptoms, you just need to learn to listen.

Paola Faira
Paola completed her massage therapy education at Centennial College, where she gained extensive clinical experience treating a wide range of conditions and clients, such as individuals with brain injuries, Oncology patients, infants, seniors, and athletes. She learned specialized skills in Swedish massage, deep tissue, fascial release, trigger point therapy, and relaxation techniques.
Paola’s approach combines a strong foundation in anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology with a compassionate therapeutic touch, tailored to meet each client’s unique needs. She believes in treating the whole person, not just the symptoms and takes time to listen to the chief complaint, build strong rapport, and understand each patients unique concerns and goals.
She is passionate about helping individuals achieve optimal health and well-being through evidence-informed, client centred care, focusing on wellness and rehabilitation.
She enjoys getting to know her clients, understanding their needs, and working with them to improve their quality of life.

Physiotherapist
Yasmin Dahelvi
Yasmin graduated with a Bachelor’s in Physiotherapy in 2015 from Maharaja Sayajirao University, India.
Following graduation, Yasmin immediately enrolled in an intensive internship at a Level I trauma hospital where she worked in many different units including ortho-surgery, NICU, neurosurgical unit, burns unit, and plastic surgery. Since then, Yasmin has worked at various clinics with a primary focus on orthopedic and sports injuries.
Yasmin is passionate about what she does and takes a comprehensive approach to physical rehabilitation by providing patients with relevant education, an exercise program to maintain the benefits provided by her care and strategies to achieve and maintain a healthy lifestyle. Yasmin is committed to continuing her professional development by attending courses to ensure that the physiotherapy treatment provided follows evidence-based practice and the most up-to-date techniques.
Outside of the clinic, Yasmin loves spending her time outdoors with her family and has a passion for cooking as well.

Lisa Balkarran
Lisa Balkarran holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Health Sciences, specializing in Kinesiology and Exercise Science, from the University of Ontario Institute of Technology, as well as an Advanced Diploma in Chiropody from The Michener Institute of Education at UHN. PodMed Foot Health Clinic is an independent onsite foot clinic owned by Lisa Balkarran.​
She provides comprehensive foot care services for all ages, including assessment, treatment, and prevention of foot disorders through therapeutic, orthotic, and palliative methods. Her services include wound care, sports injury treatment, soft tissue and nail surgeries, custom orthotics, and routine foot care. With experience in community health centers, private practices, and family health teams, Lisa is known for her compassionate, patient-centered approach to podiatric care. Dr. Francine Dallaire
Dr. Francine Dallaire is currently on medical leave while recovering from an injury.
During this time, her patients are being cared for by Dr. Larisa Shevchuk. Dr. Larisa shares a very similar patient-centred approach to care and has worked closely with Dr. Francine for many years. In fact, Dr. Larisa is Dr. Francine’s own chiropractor, making her a natural choice to provide continuity of care during Dr. Francine’s recovery.

Dr. Larisa Shevchuk - Joining Aug 4th
Dr. Larisa Shevchuk graduated with Honours from the University of Victoria before earning her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College. Prior to becoming a chiropractor, she worked for ten years as a Registered Nurse at Vancouver's St. Paul's Hospital, caring for patients in the Cardiac, Intensive Care, Post-Anesthesia Recovery, and Medical units.
Her experience in hospital-based healthcare inspired her to pursue a more preventative and holistic approach to wellness. Dr. Shevchuk believes that optimizing the function of the spine, joints, and nervous system allows the body to heal, adapt, and perform at its best.
With 14 years of chiropractic experience, Dr. Shevchuk enjoys caring for patients of all ages. She provides personalized chiropractic care for pain relief, injury recovery, pregnancy, sports injuries, posture, and overall wellness. Her approach combines evidence-informed chiropractic care with insights from neuroscience, mindfulness, neuro-linguistic programming (NLP), and lifestyle coaching to help patients achieve lasting improvements in their health.
Her care incorporates fascia, soft tissue, and joint release techniques, with most adjustments performed using the Activator® instrument. She also provides the Webster Technique for pregnancy-related pelvic balance and comfort. Dr. Shevchuk welcomes open dialogue with her patients, believing that listening and collaborating together leads to truly individualized care.
In addition to caring for people, Dr. Shevchuk is also certified in animal chiropractic and enjoys treating dogs and cats. One of her most memorable experiences even included adjusting a baby crocodile in Belize.
Outside of the clinic, Dr. Shevchuk enjoys spending time with her two children, staying active, travelling, and continually expanding her knowledge of health, movement, and personal growth.

Dr. Irina Chan is committed to helping patients uncover and address the underlying causes of their symptoms through evidence-based natural medicine. She provides personalized treatment options that help patients achieve optimal health and wellness. Dr. Irina strives to create a compassionate and inclusive space where you feel empowered and supported throughout your health journey.
Dr. Irina has completed advanced training in clinical nutrition, nutritional supplementation, herbal medicine, physical medicine, traditional acupuncture, cosmetic acupuncture, intravenous vitamin therapy, vitamin injection therapy, and mistletoe therapy. She utilizes this extensive training to provide comprehensive care for individuals with chronic fatigue, pain, digestive disorders, stress and anxiety, skin conditions, cancer, and other health concerns.

Elise Call - Joining Aug 4th
Elise Call completed her education in Massage Therapy at Durham College. During her time at Durham College, she discovered and developed her passion for Therapeutic Massage while gaining multidisciplinary experience in a wide array of clinical settings such as Athletic, Palliative, Substance Abuse Rehabilitation, Youth, and Senior Care.
Her love for Massage Therapy began when she was young! Growing up as a competitive dancer, she sought both Massage Therapy and Chiropractic care to maximize her athletic performance while minimizing the risk of injury. These positive experiences made a considerable impact on her life, thus inspiring her to combine her enthusiasm for Science and therapeutic touch. Now as a Registered Massage Therapist she can in turn share her personal experience and knowledge to help her patients experience better health.
Her treatment style involves using open communication and orthopedic testing to pinpoint the root of her patient’s concerns. This approach allows Elise to create a treatment plan that addresses not just the symptoms, but the underlying condition as a whole. Additionally, she encourages patients to actively participate in the development and execution of their treatment plans. Elise has an exceptional skill to adapt to patient feedback. She always strives to facilitate an efficient and autonomous healing journey for each patient using Deep Tissue Massage, Trigger Point Therapy, and Orthopedic Massage.

Pooja Thakkarar - Joining Aug 4th
Pooja Thakkarar is a registered physiotherapist with over 7 years of clinical experience in India before extending her practice in Canada, where she is working for the last 3 years. She holds a Master’s degree in Neuroscience from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (2016).
Pooja specializes in neuro rehabilitation, musculoskeletal care, and sports injury management. She has pursued advanced training in pelvic health, concussion & vestibular rehabilitation, and is certified in acupuncture and dry needling. Pooja strongly believes in the importance of active patient involvement and manual therapy as critical components of effective treatment, striving to deliver patient-centered care. Her comprehensive approach ensures that she is equipped to address her patients’ individual concerns with tailored therapeutic interventions.
